Jessica Pelliciotta

Jess PelliciottaCurrently a junior majoring in Political Science and minoring in Global Security, Jessica Pelliciotta has been actively involved in politics and public policy for many years. She has interned in both field and finance for the Sam Bennett for Congress campaign in PA-15 and the Obama Presidential campaign.  From her fellowships with Young People For and The Roosevelt Institute, Jessica has received extensive training and experience in public policy writing, grassroots organizing, fundraising, communications, and lobbying. Since her freshman year, Jessica has held an active role in College Democrats holding the positions of Social Chair, Secretary, and currently President. At Penn State she serves as a member of UPUA and is in the Governmental Affairs and Internal Development committees.  After graduation, Jessica hopes to obtain both a Juris Doctor degree and a Master of Science in Foreign Service or Government degree.

 

Executive Vice President
Dustin Dove

Dustin Dove is a senior majoring in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Social Studies.  He has been engaged with political campaigns since coming to Penn State, and most involved with the Hillary for President campaign in 2008.  After graduation, Dustin plans on teaching in an urban high or middle school, hopefully teaching government or civics to underprivileged students.  Dustin has been involved with the College Democrats since his sophomore year, and most recently served as the clubs Secretary.

 

 

Administrative Vice President
Rob Ghormoz

RobRob Ghormoz is from Wilkes-Barre, PA.  He is currently a junior majoring in Political Science. He has interned for both of Pennsylvania’s Senators, working with Bob Casey’s home office in Scranton this past summer, and Arlen Specter’s re-election campaign in State College currently.  After graduation, he plans to work with Senator Casey’s re-election campaign and receive his masters in American Political Science.  He joined the Penn State College Democrats early in his Sophomore year, and has been an active member ever since.

 

 

Secretary
Mallory Reed

Mallory Reed grew up on the mean streets of suburban Beaver County, PA.  She is currently a sophomore majoring in Political Science.  She has cultivated an interest in state and local government since high school, working on campaigns from the court of common pleas to a current internship with the Joe Sestak for Senate campaign.  After graduation she plans on joining the Peace Corps for two years before attending law school.  She thoroughly enjoys time spent with the College Democrats, and thinks you would as well!

 

 

Treasurer
Emily Gale

Emily Gale, Treasurer of the Penn State College Democrats, is from York, PA. She is currently a senior majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies. She is also a member of the Undergraduate Law Society, and interned for Senator Robert Casey Jr. over the summer. After graduation she plans to attend law school to focus on environmental law as well as obtain a joint master's degree in environmental policy.
